Hey Readers,
Can you believe we’re already in the second quarter of 2024? Time seems to be flying by! My boyfriend keeps reminding me that the older we get, the more it seems like time is going faster. How was the first quarter of the year for you? If you celebrate Easter, I hope it was enjoyable. I was in Cancun, Mexico for the easter break, and I’ll be sharing more about my trip soon. But for now, let’s dive into the books I devoured in Q1.
Despite not setting specific reading goals anymore, I’ve managed to read a few books, thanks to a slightly less hectic schedule. Here’s a rundown of the fifteen fiction books I enjoyed, all of which were written by talented women:

- Ethic 1 by Ashley Antoinette (5 STARS)
- Ethic 2 by Ashley Antoinette (5 STARS)
- Maybe in Another Life by Taylor Jenkins Reid (4 STARS)

- Hello Beautiful by Ann Napolitano (Review)
- A Love Song for Ricki Wilde by Tia Williams (Review)
ETHIC SERIES: If you’re up for a series with 7 books. I’m currently reading Book 5.
BOOKS I ENJOYED BUT MIGHT NOT BE EVERYONE’S CUP OF TEA:
- Queenie by Candice Carty-Williams
- Happy Place by Emily Henry
- Adelaide by Genevieve Wheeler
I’m currently juggling three books, and April already seems promising. Stay tuned as I plan to share reviews of most of the books I dive into this month. One of my goal for Q2 is to read more books from my physical shelf. However, I suspect I may read a lot of ARCs as well as I’ve been approved for a few on Netgalley – I finally remembered by Netgalley password.
